Here's China putting the octopus on me. He kept off-handedly making jokes about how the octopus was afraid to hold onto me because I was white and probably sick. Then he started telling stories about how they used to use white people's bones to make fishing hooks. It was at this time that I decided we might want to go ahead and swim back to the harbor alone. It wasn't THAT far.
