After we escaped the snake farm, we headed back to dry land. Here we are in a traffic jam waiting for the lock system. Later that night while trying to find some cheap silk, we were duped into going into a high-pressure-sale suit shop. We figured out what was going on (after the guy referred to my clothes as "Changy Pangy") and got out of there. Evidently people get ripped off all the time by "helpful, friendly locals" offering to help lost tourists. After that, we decided to switch our tickets around and leave Bangkok a couple of days early (and also cut out some time there on the return as well) and headed out for Ton Sai.
