Nate and Brian's Roadtrip of Doom / 009_6A Days 8 and 9: NYC Nights and Washington DC 8/15/2002 - 8/16/2002

We returned home from a huge day in New York to find that it had rained back at camp and totally soaked all of our stuff. I had the bright idea of leaving our clothes, guitar, skateboards, etc in the tent so they'd "be safe..." It turns out that our rain fly failed, and we got to sleep on wet sponges for the night. We awoke the next morning, poured out the tent.. threw our belongings in the dryer, and bailed. Little did we know the storm was going to follow us all the way back to Arizona. Weak.
